Italian Insurance Economist Association

The Italian Insurance Economist Association (I2EA) aims to foster collaboration among insurance economists with Italian connections at leading universities and other institutions, facilitating the exchange of ideas for academic research and policy development in the field of insurance.

Specifically, the objectives of the Association are to:

  • Organize an annual conference, rotating among Italian universities and research centers.
  • Facilitate the exchange of ideas among insurance economists with ties to Italy.
  • Mentor junior economists and PhD students whose research goals align with the aims of the Association.
  • Support the professional development of the Association’s members.

1. Advance Data-Driven Insurance Economic Research

We promote rigorous, independent research to deepen understanding of insurance economics and its societal impact.

2. Promote Critical Dialogue Across Economics and Actuarial Science

We provide a platform for scholarly exchange and constructive engagement with institutions and the broader insurance community.

3. Support Academic Excellence and Emerging Scholars

We encourage high-quality research, academic collaboration, and the development of the next generation of insurance economists.
